What it says on the tin. Orchestra was kind enough to provide some resources for us: If you have any more, let me know, and I'll add them to the list.

Like Kyurem, I regret everything! Also, Dazel started this thread. Why did they not post first? x3

I'm never alone around here, and it's weird to just start recording my voice.

I did, at some point, have a solid recording that I intended to post, but I accidentally deleted it.

Kyu sounds so familiar to me, almost identical to a Let's Player on Youtube or something, I don't know. Point is, you don't sound all that bad!

Neither does Orch, for that matter.

I'm currently trying to record myself using Vocaroo, since we actually have a microphone now! It's attached to a webcam, bought so Mum and I can Skype while I'm in England, and when we tested this, it turned out that my laptop has a mic as well! I'm currently on my PC, webcam and mic plugged in, and Vocaroo says that it apparently can't actually record me. Seriously, I click record, I let Flash do its thing, I say stuff and click stop, Vocaroo says nothing was recorded. And I can't use my laptop for this because Norton is slowing my internet down to the point of unusability...*grumble* I swear, I will do this! Just as soon as the tech lets me!

First of all, thank you Kath. x3 I'm always told I sound weird, so it's nice to be told otherwise.

second, if your computer has a built-in mic, it might have a sound recorder function in the Accessories section of the Start menu.
I recorded my clip using the recorder, then uploaded it to Vocaroo, because Vocaroo gave me the same crap when I tried to use it earlier :\ Hit record, do the entire session, hit stop... Didn't record at all.

Right, I'll only be able to do that once I've got uni anti-virus, which won't be until late 25th Sept onwards. -_-

This took far, far too many takes for me to be okay with it. Enjoy my lisp, everyone.

Orchestra, your accent sounds familiar, but I can't quite place it. If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?

Um... America? x3 I've lived most of my life in Texas though. Sorry for the lack of a country boy accent. xD

And your voice is interesting. :3 There is a slight lisp, but it's not really noticeable unless you're saying certain words. The same can be said for me x3 I tend to hiss a bit when a say certain words.

2:47 long. A quick thing for the briefest of hearing voices.

20:20 long. I actually messed up during this one, right near the end. I'd paused for lunch and forgot where I'd got to before starting again, resulting in a complete repeat of a line. And then I tried to sound like Liquid Snake (BRRRROTHERRRRR!!!). I'm...not entirely sure why I thought that was a good idea, but I'm happy with what I have.

Kathira, your voice is so happy. You should be a teacher or something.

Also I couldn't tell exactly what MetallicaFanboy was saying because I had to turn my speakers pretty far down at that point, but I could hear his voice pretty well and it sounds... well, I lack a word. But it's nice.

I should probably have a thing up soon. I plan to read Detective Pony Pals (Can Acorn Save the Animals?), if anyone was wondering.

I couldn't be a teacher. I don't suffer fools gladly, even if they're too young to actually know better. I just don't have the patience, especially since children can be REAL monsters sometimes. There's a reason I'm never having children, and it's the same reason I will never teach if you lop off the first few years. Being as I'm getting into the sciences, though, I could very well be researching and lecturing in a university. That's something on my list of possible careers.

I do tend to accidentally mutter sometimes, so that probably doesn't help. Thanks, though.
