Error Reporting Topic
#1
Hi everyone, this topic's sole purpose is to report errors that are happening in relation to the site.

This means you can report any errors, whether they be technical or human errors, such as:
-Pokédex typos
-Broken sprites
-Missing information
-Problems related to the Turquoise Forums or the Turquoise Wiki pages
-Anything else that just plain doesn't seem right.

We'll do our best to make sure everything is in tip-top shape and working properly, but we'll need your help to keep things that way!

With much thanks,
The Turquoise Staff Team

The acafia used for the first rival battle should have HP 25 and not HP 26 as currently listed, unless you're using some method other than this to determine HP values.

It seems you are correct when I do the calculation myself, thanks for spotting that for us!

It actually used to have 26 HP at that point because the base HP was higher; guess I just forgot to change it there when I nerfed it a bit, whoops. :p

So there appears to be a minor flaw in the Mt. Ovejanegras theme that makes switching fonts a little difficult when replying. Font and Text size are hard to see unless highlighted.

It appears that the color of the text is set to a light gray when the background is white. It's obviously easy to get around, though I thought I'd point it out since it looks like a quick fix.

I'm really loving the theme though. Very impressive!

The contrast is nearly as bad on Ambalchi Temple, too.

Eek, and it's horrid on the Pokémon Turquoise theme. We'll get them switched up as soon as possible, thanks guys!

Oh, dangit, and I thought I'd already added in the dark editor for those themes. Now I can't even remember if I uploaded it. I'll see what I can do about actually getting the dark editor in for real this time. :| Sorry!

Okay, sorry about that. The dark editor theme is installed now and as far as I can tell works fine on all three dark themes. The colors aren't a perfect match but it should actually be usable!

Whilst attempting to use the editor buttons to edit me signature, I came across a slight problem:

The [undefined=undefined ] tags were meant to be [i ] tags, but it seems to happen on each of the editor buttons. The Size and Font drop-down arrows don't seem to work either.

I am using the Pokemon Turquoise theme, so I don't know if it is across all of them.

Hm. It seems to work fine for me. Which browser are you using? Does the same thing happen when you try to use the buttons to post in a thread? Was this happening before I switched to the dark editor?

I use Firefox as my browser. I can use the buttons to post in a thread just fine. I don't know, I hadn't tried any formatting before the switch.

I'm not seeing the issue in Firefox. Huh. I've temporarily switched back to the default editor for the Pokémon Turquoise theme. Can you try editing your signature again and see if it still happens?

Much as I hate to say it, I've still got the problem. In the post text editor as well. (I may have misunderstood you earlier.)

I'm not really sure what to say, then. :/ Do you still have the problem if you switch themes? Is anyone else having this problem? I suspect it might be your browser specifically, and I'm not really sure what to tell you in that case.

Whelp, I tried switching themes and still have the problem. Unless someone else has the problem, I'll assume it is my browser. If that is the case, I'll learn what bit off BBC that I don't already know and do it manually. We'll see, though.

I noticed that money was deducted for those leaving Brol Island. I'm curious if that was intentional or just a misunderstanding. In the topic, it states that beginning trainers get their first ride for free, so I'd assume no money would've been necessary.

Admin Note: Chron - That was a mistake on my part, thanks for pointing it out and saving your fellow players some cash!

I have been getting the "[undefined=undefined]" whenever I try to make a post. I tried it with all the buttons and all the buttons would get me this. I'm on firefox. It just makes it a little hard to figure out how to put in an image or bold something. (I'm just used to <img src="link"> not link It will just take me longer to figure everything out is all.)

So yes, I think I am having the same sort of problem as Raivis Galante.

I tried downloading the latest version of Firefox just now and incurred the same error. It's possible that firefox updated recently and isn't working coherently with the text editor as a result. It's also possible that Phoenixsong's firefox isn't updated all the way, which is why it might've worked fine for her. Until we get the problem fixed or until myBB updates and fixes the problem on its own, I recommend trying Google Chrome for the time being.

FYI this error would appear to indicate that the version of MyBB powering the board is outdated; this is supposedly an issue that was fixed in an update last December. So, hopefully a simple upgrade should make the problem go away.
