Sooner than I expected...

Alex was heading to the fulgork mountains to get a kiblis that he heard lived there. Before doing that though Alex decided that his pokemon could use some training. He was searching for some wild pokemon and getting the sinking feeling that he was going to get more than he bargained for.

OOC: I would like a double wild battle please.

An odd request, but granted nontheless.

Argh, you seem to have found the bane of the moderators. Double battles are painful.
Crocoal and Fallorite landed decent Tackles on the enemy team, while Lamlie's responding Tackle was just as strong. Meditite had resorted to using Meditate to improve its power.

OOC: We really hope that you can continue to state your attacks, despite how repetitive we know it can get. It'll make going through updating so much faster without needing to search for what moves were used. Thank you.

Your Tackles proved to be just as strong as the last ones, and while Lamlie used Tackle as well, Meditite went on the offensive with a Bide.

Sorry about that, probably won't be doing another double battle anytime soon. Clipse and Barwell both tackle meditite.

Clipse was quick to throw himself at the meditite again, bide or no, but Barwell hesitated a moment as the lamlie's fur bristled, the little mareep look-alike letting out a deep, throaty growl that was enough to give the space rock pause. The fallorite did go on to tackle the meditite as ordered, but perhaps more gently than it would have normally. For its part, the meditite was still biding its time, a tall red aura blazing around its body as it drew strength from its pain.

Meditite is storing energy!

Clipse used tackle on Meditite!

Lamlie used growl! Clipse's attack fell. Barwell's attack fell.

Barwell used tackle on Meditite!

In which an undead trainer, a bloodthirsty super-clone, and an irascible ex-Rocket grunt set out to rescue an imprisoned Mew--if they don't end up murdering each other first.

Meditite was going off the deep end with the anger and power it had built up at this point. It aimed it's attack on the last thing that touched it, the Fallorite. And while it normally wouldn't be very effective, the damage was through the roof and Barwell wasn't in a position to even move afterwards. Making good judgement in which Pokemon to have Clipse attack, you find the first of the two Pokémon knocked out and unable to continue fighting.

Barwell fainted. Cerebral was sent out to take its place. Clipse gained 21% exp, Cerebral gained 25% exp.

The Lamlie stood the ground that it shared with its fallen comrade, and made further attempts to deter your progress through Route 609 by tackling Clipse. Both Pokémon were meeting their falling point now. Speed might be the ultimate decider here (Either speed or using a small derpy dolphin as bait).

OOC: So I realized (was pointed out to) that I made a mistake in the previous post. Basically the bide that Meditite used had a speed priority and so had to attack before anything, which resulted in the demolishing of Barwell. So Cerebral was sent out and received exp instead. And I went ahead and did this update anyways because nothing would change since Cerebral's only attack is splash and there's nothing else you can do. Sorry about the error!

Upon the Derfin taking the place of Barwell, it was immediately seen as the weakest link and targeted by the Lamlie. It was a sitting duck (or dolphin) if you think about it.
Meanwhile, Clipse took the chance to tackle with all of his might into the wolf in sheep's clothing and brought it to a point of critical health.

Clipse's Tackle was enough to take out the disguised wolf.

Clipse gained 21 exp. points!
Cerebral gained 25 exp. points and grew to level 6!

What next?

OOC: Bumped Humbuzz's level up one due to the minimum level in this area being 5.

Hunbuzz did nothing but splash around while Barwell landed a powerful Tackle.

Humbuzz's Quick Attack was pathetic, unlike Barwell's Tackle.
